Corporate Governance
Condamine Alliance was established in 2002 as an initiative of the Federal government's National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP) and Natural Heritage Trust (NHT). We are a high performing regional body making significant contributions to the health and protection of our catchment. We believe good governance is the key to achieving quality outcomes that align with our shared values.
Our operating model is strong and we pursue systems and practices across environment, business and safety areas at higher level than many larger organisations. We’re punching above our weight because we have an important job to do – protecting our natural assets for future generations.
Condamine Alliance was the first NRM organisation to achieve ISO certification in three operating areas (environment, business, health and safety). This is a great achievement and puts us in a very strong position to continue to meet the requirements of our funding partners and be ready to take the lead in a wider range of projects. – John Herbert, Chair
